How We Got Started
The year 2003 saw the birth of eXtribe Inc, a group of friends with unparalleled passion for the sport of triathlon. The team recognized a drought in local muti-sport racing events. All agreeing to make a difference, the group took on the challenge of producing quality multisport events that would complement the Philippine race calendar.
Since then, eXtribe Inc., has always held true to its commitment – to not only provide a venue for local athletes, but to focus on fostering community building through sports and promoting the Philippines as an ideal venue for sports toursims.
Our Mission
Today eXtribe has definitely come a long away. The years of accumulated learnings and experiences synthesized with its core passion for the sport and for active living has transformed eXtribe Inc., into a sports lifestyle company, specializing in sports events organization and management.
Priding itself to be one of the top race organizers in the Philippines, eXtribe continues to stage its own signature events – the ROCKSTAR 113 Long Distance Triathlon and the eXtri: Off-road Triathlon – as well as organizing client-commissioned events, ranging from Village/ Community Fun Runs to Guinness World Record Events (10.10.10 Run for the Pasig River with 116, 086 runners).
Through the years, eXtribe has grown into its own community. Transcending the actual races, it goes well beyond the core group members, the athletes and their families… it has extended to the tireless marshals and volunteers, the technical and logistics personnel, the host venues and their staff, the companies that give support to our events and the local government units and local communities supporting the events – all of these people make up this community that manage to share a common sub-culture that values quality, perseverance, excellence and community involvement through sports.
eXtribe Inc., is not just an race organizing team, it is a community of individuals whose mission is to work with a community in promoting sports and active living while highlighting the beauty of our country and the Filipino spirit…. We are EXTRIBE.
